I think it might be easier to return an iPod to the store if you’ve never taken it out of the ugly silicon skin case you stuck on it the second you took it out of its box.

I’m just packing up the iPod I bought a few weeks ago for a trip back to Best Buy. The iPod was great, but it just didn’t handle enough different video formats for my liking. Transcoding sucks video sucks and I don’t want to have to do everything in Quicktime format. I’d much rather watch my rugby in whatever old format it happens to come off of BitTorrent in.

Anyways, part of packing it up means taking it out of the ugly old dull black silicon skin that’s been protecting the iPod for the last three weeks. I’d forgotten how sexy the little black beast actually is.

I’m almost tempted to keep it.
