If you’ve been wondering what’s with all the jokes, web site links and personal observations about work, life, etc. then that means you probably missed this post from a while back.

I decided that I was trying to cram to much stuff into this blog – work, personal, policy, development, podcasts, politics, etc. - to the point that Random Bytes had become a shizophrenic mess. So, I created two new blogs – “Opticandy” for my more serious photographs, and “Code” for my policy and public affairs postings. If those are the subject areas that you’ve been reading this blog for, you might want to repoint yourself to one (or both!) of those other destinations.

Random Bytes will continue to consist of an eclectic assortment of odd’s and sods and bits that strike my fancy - think of it as a small window into where I’m at any particular point in time. Code, and Opticandy, on the other hand, are to be taken very seriously and should be viewed as professional, austere works not to be trifled with.
